Some weird scenario where there was some airlock type of set-up (possibly a portal access), and someone was going to let these fierce wolf-like creatures in; I got the impression (whether rightly or wrongly) that they might kill ya pretty easily; nevertheless, I ended up interacting with one or two of them by going inside. I think it was one adult and a pup; possibly another one was going to be 'let through', perhaps the female/mother?
Woken up by my alarm from a dream of being a (male) character, sort of a semi-grifter type who had a complicated relationship with the local Authorities and other Beings. I'd say, Chaotic Neutral, perhaps a bit like a John Constantine type (though not him specifically).
Something happened in some building in the city where I had been present, whereupon everyone promptly started to get all excited about it, crying that a crime (maybe a theft?) or criminal was involved, and resolving to catch the perp. Local police and media whipping themselves into the usual, unnecessary frenzy. I think I had accidentally done something that had set them off. Perhaps had disappeared something by accident? I mentally shrugged and headed out of the building and that neighborhood to get scarce for a bit, as that would be a lot easier than trying to explain.
As I was going down the street, I sensed to my right an acquaintance - a Being somehow similar to my type - notice me and come out from where'd he'd been talking to a female, out onto the sidewalk with me. His attitude was a version of "Hey, Man, how you been? Ain't seen you around in a while...What you been up to?" Etc. I was not displeased to see him, as he and I had an understanding, and I could (probably) count on him to give me a place to crash if I needed it, for a couple of days at least.
Scene shifted to us both hanging out inside a building/structure, chatting. He had two wolf or wolf-like pets/mascots/companions, (IIRC, he himself was also 'Wolfy', hence the animal companions). I think I was giving some tidbits to the wolves, who were in mooch mode. Making sure both got a bit, etc.
