Wandering in and out of a house similar (but not quite the same) as my childhood house/current habitation. Realized someone was inside; through a window or door saw someone outside in the backyard, using a snow blower (?). Caught a glimpse of a lighted kitchen through the hall door of the area I was in; heard a radio playing music. Realized I needed to leave; retreated out the door I'd come in, but not without worrying about (and seeming to see) the traces of a security system (those edge sensors). But nothing went off, since it was apparently disengaged, as people were home.

Crossed the front year and started along the edge of the field next to the property, but unlike here, this field had cows in it; they got agitated by my presence. Dream recall ends there.

A scrap of another dream, maybe - picking up and holding a (wild) type of bird - I was not hurting it, but it was not happy with the situation. Might have been trying to show it to someone else.

Weird scenario with that "Am I doing an action or watching?" confusion. Was in an interior, and helped some guy who was hanging upside down (The Fool??) get down. Some criminal types had been hanging him there, I think, as some sort of punishment? Not entirely clear. But I think they were kinda trying to torture him in a sense. He seemed to have an itch his lower back; I may have scratched it at his request. Anyway, helped him down, then we proceeded to escape the house through a window and somehow lower ourselves down safely (was a 2-storey house). At that point the "Am I with him or watching?" confusion kicked in, as I suddenly seemed to be keeping an eye on what the 'criminals' were doing, as the escapees seemed to be out having fun, but he also wanted to return to the upper room so the 'criminals' would never realize he'd been out and about...so more like a sneaking out and having fun? Well weird. Possibly he met up with a lady friend once he was out, hence me not going with them. So in the end, maybe the situation wasn't quite a fraught as I assumed...maybe he was up to (fun) mischief...
