I'm always a little surprised at how cavalier some people are about thunderstorms when I hear of stuff like this.

Yeah, this is why both our soccer association and our pool are very, very strict about getting off the field/out of the pool when there's thunder.

As the CBS radio newscaster said, "'When you hear it thunder don't run under a tree' is good advice 10 people at a soccer game chose to ignore..."

Hope they'll all come through okay.
