1st over-night in the new place. The cat is here, and utterly flummoxed. Partly due to the fact that there's another cat here. They have not met face-to-face yet. Should be interesting when they do. Currently experiencing for the 1st time the heady joy of using someone elses's unsecured wireless signal.

Shifted a few blocks down, same 'hood, to a 2-bedroom place, splitting rent w/ campion7. Got the keys on the 15th, have been moving small stuff for the past few days (at times via zipcar, at others via audioboy-With-Minivan); a local moving guy will follow-up with the 3 or 4 large way-too-heavy pieces before the 23rd.

Last night was the 'moved the mattress (the bed frame will have to wait), the coffee maker, and the cat' evening. And so, I finally over-nighted.

My brother said last week when he moved into his own place, 'there's no internet like stolen internet'. ^^;;
