A lot of people who've seen that 'kitty in a washing machine' youtube video (a pet store's animal washer that sends jets of water at someone's cat in that contained space as said cat freaks out) have said they couldn't help being caught between being disturbed and amused.

No uncertainty here. Just disturbed. Really disturbed. By the fact that anyone could find that cat's stress-out amusing. And so many, many people, by their own admission, have.

I was already in a bad, tired mood. Now I want to go become a hermit so I can stay away from the Stupid F*cks I have to share this planet with.

I haven't been able to make myself watch it yet.

Given that the machine in question is supposed to be a dog-washing machine, and given that such machines are harmless when used appropriately but can be used for harmful purposes, is there any argument to be made that YouTube should pull the video? What do their rules say about posting videos of animals being tormented or harmed?

Glad i haven't seen that video.
Sounds horribly cruel.

Hadn't even heard of the video until now, but it's hard to imagine being amused by a poor scared cat.

I've seen it.

I didn't like it.

Even if someone who "was there" claims the washing session was stopped early due to the kitty freaking out.

It just wasn't right.

Too disturbing for me.
