I wear darker, more subtle colors because I find them soothing to the eye.

Except as occasional small accents, whites and screaming brights are, quite frankly, alarming.

I sometimes wear bright colours because they can be cheerful and energizing. But most of the time I prefer something softer.

Also, light colours look awful on people who actually do work and get dirty. I work in an office and light colours are too high-maintenance. I can't be that prissy and fixated about what touches my clothes.
