*buys several patterns from sewing patterns.com, including a wardrober for when I gots me my MLS and gots to look spiffy, basic pants, basic tops and two really nice but simple dress patterns*
There...that aught to keep me busy & out of trouble for a while, clothes-buying wise. My tastes are too expensive - well, insofar as even decent sportswear brands are mahoosively overpriced. (Gots me a weakness for Eileen Fisher, for example...when all they do there is make simple shapes out of admittedly gorgeous fabrics like silk & linen...then jack up the price to obscene levels.) I can make alot of my own stuff for far cheaper. Along the way, I plan to get some nice dyable fabrics from dharmatrading, sew up a few things, then do some tub dying to get me favorite colors.
