For me the current epitome of Evening Domesticity: A quilt, a candle instead of bright electric lights, a grooming cat, WGBH's evening jazz program, either homemade chocolate crackles or a toasted roll with butter & honey for a snack. Plus hot cocoa if it was the roll.

Doesn't take that much to be winter-snug. Really.

Maybe some fanfic reading as well.
