*gets into e-mail row with Jon Andersen over the current IA imbroglio where he flamed someone's chapter in public and I called him on it*

Even though I'd stated when this IA's sign-up started that bitching in public about some one else's chapter was 'considered Tacky' (which I figured was enough warning to not do it), he went and flamed Mason on the dw_ias LJ for the way he wrote his chapter. Not just critiqued, flamed, as in saying it was cr@p, etc.

Since Jon's tone was abusive, I deleted the comment and scolded him by e-mail.

Ever since, he has been defensively and unrepentedly arguing by e-mail that we should all be able to be 'harsh' while critiquing if we want, and implying that my enforcing of a rule I made at the beginning of sign-up is me being suddenly 'arbitrary'. He then goes and reminds me snippily that I left the moderatorship and then only came back later (funny, he was the one who asked me if I wanted to moderate IA#29 - suddenly it's a problem now that I'm not just letting him get away with his abusive crapola.)

I had a few choice sentances for him as well - as I don't like his current 'deal with it' attitude. Not at all.

He can mod his stories the way he likes - I never stepped on his toes (except for that time I snarled at Gregg at the very beginning of IA#28, and I apologized for that). But suddenly it's ok for him to nag at me about how unreasonable this no flaming rule is?

F*ck that shit.
