Now the thing is, for those of you on my friend's list who are concerned about that discrepency between the exit polls in certain states and the final countings, but cautiously hopeful that there'll be a 'logical explanation' for it in the end...a couple of things to consider:
a.) If Bush only needed a couple of contested states in order to 'win'...then only a couple of contested states would need to have voter fraud committed in them (should his party have stooped to such tactics) in order to insure his win.
b.) In the event that our elections become no longer actually 'free', no longer a process that renders the peoples' judgement towards our politicians....the Illusion that one's vote is accurately counted and still has an effect upon those politicians will continue on for some time.
