Two heads swiveled around.
"Doctor, are you sure you should be doing this?"
"Sam, did it never occur to you that we might be meant to be part of this Nexus?"
The man known as Klaatu smiled at the newcomers' banter. Dr. Barnhardt blinked.
Klaatu stepped forward to clasp hands with the Doctor. "It's been a long time, old friend." Unheard by the others, he added quietly, "Do not worry. I am here just to observe....and warn."
The Doctor smiled back. "Just checking."

I was working on a TDTESS/Doctor Who crossover fic a few months ago, but then I got busy w/ other things and never finished it. I'd be happy to have someone critique it and/or collaborate. If you're interested, I'll send it to you. TDTESS is one of my all-time fave movies!
