My neighbor is a cat person, it turns out; has grown up having them, had her own in the past, etc. I misunderstood some of what she said earlier - the people from whom she got the cat that she had to take to the animal shelter earlier today were neighbors of her sister, not anyone she knows.
They'd not only left the cat unfixed, but had played roughly with it from when it was little - essentially taught it to be rough. Similar to those idiots who teach their pit bulls to be vicious, etc.
Making it essentially unadoptable, the shelter people told her.
So she was the one who had to pay the price, clean up their f*ck-up, caused by their lack of common-sense.
And the cat will most likely be euthanised rather than adopted.
Thanks a lot...you
We already did.
