Got an appointment next week for a mental health assessment. I know I have depression & anxiety issues. But based on recent events in another online venue in which I lashed out abusively at one person having his own troubles... add to that major anger management issues. If depression is indeed often anger turned inward, the way I've felt from adolescence onwards would make a lot more sense. The 5-HTP I've been taking might have made me even more volatile than usual; doesn't really matter. Even if so, it just high-lighted the curdled rancor that was already there.

Anyway, actually looking forward to that appointment.
