Dreams 02.20.16

Was in an interior, reminded me of the dining room in the house in which I grew up, with some woman (not familiar to me).

Was outside next to the side lawn of the place I grew up in.  Someone appeared to (literally) be herding cats. A motley conglomeration of mostly kittens came gambolling over. They parted around me, slowed and dithered, distracted a bit, when they reached me, as if I were a rock mid-stream, disrupting their momentum.

Was in some major metropolis, riding a bus. Someone who might have been my eldest brother was stood nearby, holding a pole. He was sneering at a young man also stood nearby who may have been 'the mayor's son', as if he were a political opponent. My 'brother' leaning forward and sneeringly muttered something to the effect that the son was, shall we say, not well-endowed.

Later, became aware that the city was taking steps to prepare for / try to mitigate the effects of possible tsunamis - the Monster kinds with waves hundreds of feet high.  A part of their prep seemed very tech-intensive, as if protective bulwarks would come up or something. A bunch of us may have been on said bus in order to help demo or test the system.

A slight change of location (or loss of focus) later, and we seemed to be down closer to where the waters edge was, in the midst of the test, perhaps, for the bus seemed to be caught, maybe 'cradled' by something, then was tilting back at a bit of an angle, a mechanical or recorded voice ('female', possibly meant to be comforting), saying, "Back, back." I think the system was displaying what would be done to try to protect public transit vehicles if a tsunami warning came upon them very suddenly.
