Was on a bus. One male passenger began to smoke on board, so I went to the front to complain to the driver. There was a fancy gate/door blocking instant access form the driver's seat area (seemed wooden or paneled).  As I got the driver's attention, the smoking male passenger was heading for the bathroom in the back of the bus.

The driver started back to confront the smoking passenger, but had to pause to calm a suddenly angry/infuriated other male passenger who was about to jump up out of his seat and (I assume) also confront the smoker.  I recall the driver warning the other person that he was in danger of either losing control or being controlled.  In other words, I believe he meant (among other things) that to lose control due to emotion would not be a good thing. I.E., he would have let his emotions control him too much.
