Was hanging out with some young people (adolescents). Impression that I was lost and had stumbled across them. I.E., I was lost and/or confused, and they were good-natured and helpful.  However, soon they had to go off to (high) school, so I accompanied them. We went in this golf-cart-like contraption, with this dark-haired fellow driving.  Along the way, though, I was annoyingly mushed up against a couple of people, practically hanging off the side of the vehicle and partly under someone, as if it were a tangle of people. However, when we reached our destination and I'd disembarked, I glanced back at the vehicle and it seemed like there were (suddenly) plenty of seats.

We went inside, with my travelling companions quickly scattering off to their classes (I got the impression we might have been a little late arriving). For once I didn't feel over-awkward or anxious about being in a school (especially considering it wasn't 'mine', or me a high school aged-person.) Instead, I started wandering and looking around with interest.  In a little courtyard in the back, I saw teens hanging about outside and tried to identify the usual cliques, without terribly much success.  Thought I saw a little group of vaguely asian-looking students to one side, though. *meangingful side glance* Saw one fellow passing by, wearing a (dark blue) man skirt, and thought to myself approvingly that this place was progressive enough so all forms of self-expression were allowed there.

Went back in the building and noted that it was one of those high schools with every amenity, the kind that sends scads of people on to the top unis. It was obvious there were tons of faculty, enrichment opportunities, all those other activities that money-strapped school systems dismatle first - the works.

I glanced at a little classroom to my right; there seemed to be a mini classroom, a little wing, and then around a corner a main area that I decided was a cooking (home ec.) area.  Some faculty/staff person was turning on the gas burners (blue flame) as if testing/prepping them.
