Wandering along the edge of a highway, seeing the types of buildings (some functional, some older, more decrepit) that you can see along highways, amidst the underbrush/trees (no longer the most desireable real estate). Seemed to be with a FB/LJ friends-lister. At one point, we saw a huge but decrepit (and a bit baroque) church. I remember thinking that were it renovated (and obviously, de-sanctified), it'd be almost like a big apartment building - way more stories than you'd normally see in such a building.
A bit after this, my friend was called off to some event with another/new/sudden companion, who seemed to be 'asian' and 'female'. I wasn't invited, but in this particular context didn't take that fact personally (which I've been known to do in the past); just continued my wandering about.
