Trying to distract myself from my 2nd paper re-jiggering. (Starting to sound like Nostalgia.) 
I really don't feel like being here, doing this. God, I wish I were working on fanfic. Finally feeling the urge to fic returning...and I have to get this out of the way. Or I'll be an even more unhappy camper during the next two evenings. (I am so mentally done with this class.)
In that spirit, I note that although I'll go long periods (such as hot muggy summers or when I bore of it) without wearing any, I still have too much makeup. Multiple eyeshadow groups that are virtually the same, many lip pencils, bottles or tubes of liquid makeup purchased in one of those familiar (you know the type) fits of optimism...
My current favorites are cute little miniatures, especially those little compacts with eyeshadow, blush and lipstick, thin enough to fit in a purse or pocket. Or pencils that do triple duty (eyes lips, cheeks). In the spirit of fast, easy makeup, I like the thick cakey compact makeup that turns powdery on the face (needing no powder application) - one step eliminated. Price to be paid: my getting closer to middle-age lines o' emotion get emphasized more sometimes due to the powdery nature.
To almost completely change the subject: Why, now that I have a proper apple keyboard again, can I not move the insertion point around when in my word processor program with my mouse (but can do so here, for instance)? I mean,
