I haven't been at all in B7 fandom mode since those few years from the end of the 80s to the early 90s...(mental note to self: finish getting my couple of other fics from that period up on the B7 section of my fic page)...am currently in the midst of a long AU LotR fic...in a couple of weeks will once again be organizing DW RRs on adwc...and yet, I'm diverting into B7 icons...

*blink*

Oh! I know what it was. It was a) watching 'Pressure Point' and 'Orbit' at Neilcon, then b) the ambushing effect of the 'Smoochy Travis' pic, first seen last week on a mailing list.

Dunno if it will go far enough to inspire any new ficcing but we shall see.

You will suffer for that user icon. Suffer deeply. As soon as I can stop laughing for long enough to find the brass knuckles.

Oh, I know where you live. Oh yes. I'm making a list of all who spread smoochy Travis... I'll get you all eventually.

I'm not kidding about the uncontrollable fits of giggling! I've spent more than one evening in physical pain because of this picture and Gordon.

...you have seen that picture of young Brian Croucher modelling swimming trunks for Carnaby Street, right?

*whistles innocently while flicking through her collection of dodgy B7 pics*

No, I can't actually say I have... I may, er, be in touch about arranging donations for a certain webpage. :-)

A forthcoming site, full of space-commandery goodness and blatant lies... :-)

Ulp... I thought my own site (http://koti.phnet.fi/lagopus) was enough, as it contains so much questionable B7 material. Such as this:

No, no, a different sort of blatant lies and space commandery goodness altogether. This is an exercise in propaganda. :-)

Carnaby Street photo shoots apparently had rather higher standards than most other '60s advertising, didn't they...

Alas. It's so very true.

My only salvation is that much of the existential absurdity of the picture is outside the cropping boundaries of the icon... so the uncontrollable giggling turns into an involuntary smirk.

[Jedi Whammy] Yes, it will. [/Jedi Whammy]

Do keep in mind that I'm not a slash-ficcer...not against the genre, just never felt moved to contribute to it...

That's all right, you seem to like writing comedy and that's fine enough for me:). Wanna see!
