You have to pick and choose your battles.
Well, this week, I chose this one....and won.
When I returned to the pizza parlor this evening as the manager had requested (as he'd have counted the drawer from that day)...after social niceties were exchanged, he simply opened the register...and handed me $20. So I said I now owed him the remaining 53 cents...and gave him that. Then thanked him sincerely, and left.
Victory is Sweet.
