Hoo-ha again...

Day didn't turn out as crappy as I expected.

Mailed out a resume/cover letter for a library job, got a sh*tload of quarters I'll be needing (what with laundry and bus fare), got my exercise in while running an errand at Trader Joe's (walked part of the way, and ended up getting my coffee grinder and a little jar of that tomato pesto sauce, among a few other things, Neil...:)).

Still waiting for a call back from the vet who looked at my cat on Tuesday, but they said she'll call tommorrow for sure (she'd tried for some bizarre reason to call yesterday at 9 pm when I was of course on line...I mean, wasn't everyone??? But the cat has been back to her normal peppiness since yesterday morning and wasn't frantically off to the box to scratchscratchscratch evey 5 minutes like on Tuesday....so that was a good sign.

I woke up this morning with those familiar 'coming down with a cold' signs (slight sore throat, wee bit of sneezing), but have been mega-dosing with C (2 g a pop several times a day) and this nifty tea for colds that I'm finally getting to use.

So we shall see..
