I have Hipster impulses that do not serve me well....plus a craving for pretty things and occasionally some fashionable things.

Must channel that impulse for 'shinies' into crafting again....

These aren't *bad* impulses, as far as I'm concerned. I question why both of your posts have suggested that going out and being seen and feeling cute are "bad" things? I don't care if you're 18, 28, 38 or 88, there's nothing wrong with going out and seeing what the world has to offer, even if it's the "hipster" thing to do.
