*devours homemade stir fry* No dessert; I'm making some cookies to take with me on my visit to my folks' place tomorrow... as well as pre-preparing a few items for Boxing Day supper.
*pause*
...I mean, no dessert yet... I'm sure I'll have to, erm, 'test' the cookies later tonight when I bake them...
Homemade presents this year - turned out fairly well, with me plumbing the depths of my craft supplies - and astonished (like every crafter almost invariably is, when they take inventory) at how much stuff, especially fabric, I've stockpiled. Even so, I found myself almost caught up in a bit of that last minute 'It's not enough!' anxiety... which I fortunately quashed. Mostly.
Man, I'm tired.
The cats are already enjoying their christmas prezzie - a Petmate pet fountain.
Some people here in the 'hood have only just turned on colored lights tonight; I find myself wondering if they follow the old school '12 days of Christmas' tradition (assuming they don't simply refuse to have lights on more than a couple of days due to the expense, which is also a possible explanation)...
Wishing a pleasant next few days to all you folks at home (after that you're on your own)... *starts counting the hours until she can download the DW Christmas Special*
