I've had actual beer in lots of wacky fruit flavours, but this is pop. Iiiiinteresting.
I just found out that I can get birch beer in Canada. o_O There's one gourmet brand called Boylan's that has it. I haven't tried it, but their black cherry pop is lovely.
Apple beer was one of my favorite soft drinks when I was a kid. I have fond memories of sitting in the shade on a hot August afternoon and sipping apple beer with my dad... very refreshing -- not too sweet at all.
