A week ago, every single zipcar in this city was booked up for the crucial late a.m. to mid p.m. Thanksgiving Day visiting time, that would have allowed me most easily to get to my folks' place to have the traditional family meal....

But yep, as of tonight somebody'd changed their mind and cancelled their reservation - I immediately snagged it while checking the listings tonight on the vague hope that....
