No, the universe doesn't @#$%ing revolve around us humans...typical 'human nature' though it is, I'm uncommonly Irritated this morning by the numerous anxious witterings from the White Liberal Guilters with their ' Mother Earth's mad at us' (ie, 'punishing ' us with bad weather and earthquakes)...
When you scratch an itch, are you 'angry' at it at the time? Well, maybe you are. I suppose it's possible. But Jeebus, people...come on, get some perspective! When you bump your arm...do you apologise to the cells injured and destroyed in the bruised area?
Think 'natural consequences' instead. Live too near the sea...no longer understand the warning signs...and get whacked by stuff like Hurricanes. (Not talking here about the human economic class system Issue that was so clearly illustrated recently - that's a whole 'nother can of worms). So now we Know in a way we can't ignore. As I see it, logically: either building codes will get even more stringent...or people will stop living right on the beach.
