Just got a cranky e-mail from someone I bought someothing from on eBay a couple of weeks back - already paid for and received, and I left her a nice enough feedback comment - except I innoccently added, I'd be nice if she took paypal. And I got this aggreived 'I don't appreciate this; I take paypal bank transfers and I gave you nice feedback' msg back.

Well guess what? I had to send a money order and while it wasn't the end of the world, it was annoying.

If you don't take the credit-card version of Paypal, as far as I'm concerned, YOU DON'T @#$%ING TAKE PAYPAL!

I dunno - I won't take the CC version of paypal (costs too much to justify switching to the paid version) but it usually comes in handy for the bank transfers. Indeed, I prefer to do bank transfers for paying now, as well. (Provided I remember to put it in my checkbook...) So I can understand her getting a little huffy. Maybe not huffy enough to e-mail about it, but there ya go.

People get all wiggy about feedback. I got in this argument with someone who bought seomthing from me. The page specifically stated "Payment expected in 3 days." I waited 10. I got it on the 10th day, left neutral feedback and the guy blasted me. Despite the fact that he bid on the game, then went on vacation. If I'd gotten an EMail from him with ANY contact, or a note that he was on vacation, I woulda waited longer.
