What seemed like the DW book characters the 7th Doctor and Ace, but more characters who were in someone's mind - like figments in someone's head, than independant persons. At one point I think the Doctor (or should I say, 'Professor'?) might have been accused of interfering or manipulating (as he almost always was in the novels), but something about them being in someone's head seemed to refute that. At one point I was sitting, talking to them both (I thought in my parent's den) - Ace to my left, the Doctor to my right. The Doctor may have seen or become aware of the presence of a gun, but said sadly to someone to keep it; they'd probably need it. Ace was chewing gum; she said she'd added oats to it. I thought that might make it clean teeth better. I felt vaguely that DW book character Benny might be around, though not sure I saw her..
