A field-trippin' bus full of girl's school, maybe college attendees got off course and ended up time-travellin' back to a much earlier version of their school, with them and their chaperone/teacher left to deal with the Weirdness and culture-shock while they rested there and tried to figure out how to get back. In this case, seemed to be future people ending up around our present. Fortunately, not everything changes that much from era to era. Somewhat Disney-movie-esque in tone. (Sorry; best way I can describe it at the moment.)
