Was outside in the yard of my childhood home; saw flashes of aurora borealis, and also 'sparks' in the night sky. A friendly neighbor dog came over briefly. My parents appeared, and we walked down to an area in the back acres, that is usually wild, but here, after passing through a cunning 'spring-loaded' wooden turnstile/gate I saw that the area was cultivated - at least a few rows of vegetables. I was surprised to see this area, but pleased that they still had a garden, and an alternative to the traditional area my parents have planted in the past. One row (yellow beans IIRC) was under water; I reached towards the row and wondered if the plants would be all right; my dad indicated not. There was a hill/butte (but tree-covered) in the distance, across the nearby tollroad; my mother, as if a bit creeped out over it, quietly reminded us that it was some sort of military instillation, that there were dogs, and a light on top at night.
