Wandering this countryside with this guy. Don't recall who he exactly was, but he was safe to travel and keep a step ahead of calamity with - along with a mid-sized friendly creature (unclear now, whether it was vaguely dinosaur-like - impression that it wasn't that small, but was loyal or allied to us) tagging along. At one point, got briefly cornered by some other definitely dinosaur-like creature in some abandoned factory-like building. We retreated into a safer area, while the 'dino' tried to (in a mindless predatorial way) find a way through to us. It eventually went quiet and we both kind of looked at each other, with me indicating it'd obviously gotten into some central area right behind this wall before us, and was going to eventually make its way (probably suddenly bust through, a la 'nightmare rules') at us. I took a chance with my next suggestion, and we all snuck, along with creature friend, out a side exit.

And the 'dino' either hadn't noticed, or caught up with us, by dream sequence's end. Heh.

Though it may well have been that we figured it'd follow, so we kept on.

We made our way to this water/river-side, hoping to catch this 'water-shuttle', but just missed it (we saw the low boat, stuffed with suited 'businessmen' glide by), to our annoyance. Guess it would have helped (convenience-wise) in our journey greatly. I mean, wasn't the end of the world, but would have made things so much easier. I guess now we had to keep travelling somewhere on foot in less-than-safe territory...

Not sure if this was part of the same sequence, but I wandered into and about this little 'mall'-like area. Felt small-town biz-like. There was a bakery area, a restaurant, a pharmacy. I was wandering aorund, looking for something, possibly some object I wanted/needed to buy, almost in an 'Iwassentonanerrand' sort of way. At the bakery area, a middle-aged Italian woman was removing stuff from display, a hall area which curved around just before the bakery proper (as if the mall complex had some odd corners and areas). Perhaps it were close to closing. The restaurant seemed busy. The pharmacy was moderately busy. I started to get slightly distracted by other stuff on display there.
