Seeing the following, as if a comic strip storyline: a woman with child was fed up, leaving a man who'd been abusive to them (woman reminded me somewhat of the Love & Rockets character Luba). As she left, holding child, another, Grima-like man eagerly urged on the man who'd been abusive to go and finish her off (for daring to defy and leave him), and ironically, the abusive man prepared to turn on him...as if he could abuse her, but no one else could dare tell him what to do. (Ie, as if he'd felt she was 'his', so God help anyone else who butted their nose in). Impression that the Grima-like man was agitating on behalf of someone else (a baddie), and the abusive man half-knew this/resented the interference. 'Watching' this, I felt this would offer the woman plenty of distraction during which to get safely away...and was glad.
