Drove to visit my Dad at his place; was night, so, dark when I arrived. I paused before getting out of the car, as if not sure it would be safe to travel between the car and the house, but apparently didn't sense any imminent danger, so went to and entered the house. Wasn't clear to me if he was expecting me, but I guess in the end he was.
