Dreams 10.06.14

Woke to the alarm from a dream in which I seemed to be seeing a little film or documentory, which seemed to be about a scientist who was doing experiments that involved operations on this species of wolf.  The scientist seemed regretful/sympathetic about having to do this (in a 'gee, it's sad if/when the animal feels discomfort /suffers from this) though he still did it.  Seemed as if each wolf would be used 4 times; it may have been that if it survived being used 4 times, it might be removed from the system. Seemed to be seeing a wolf that was going in for its 4th operation but woke up before I could see if it completely survived its time as a research animal. The scientist had gone to do the 4th operation hoping on the animal's behalf that it would survive and beat the odds, etc. The wolf had just woken up from the anesthesia in a recovery area, but I didn't get to see if it ultimately died or survived.

Another dream sequence involved seeming to be in my childhood home (which my brother's family and my dad still occupy).  Seemed to be more people (such as myself, and additional brother) also occupying it , at least at the moment.  There was a small fridge in my old room; my niece also seemed to be about.  There were various treats, including ice cream in the fridge, which may have 'belonged' to my other brother.  Various other treats/clutter was about.  I think I was being tempted (and maybe actually eating? Don't fully recall) by the treats.
