Dreams had that combo of familiar and novel settings where it switched back and forth between them. In one sequence, was with a bunch of other people in a 'prison camp' where if one stepped out of line, horrible things would happen to you. For example, a woman near me I knew was going to end up dead soon, as she'd done something forbidden, perhaps disobeyed an order or gone to an area she wasn't supposed to, though she hadn't actually died yet. But she was essentially the 'walking dead'. We were planning a break-out, though (Great Escape style, just no tunnel). We'd all break out the back exit and scatter and hope some of us got through. Having decided this, in that weird 'location switch', the next scene had me seemingly in my childhood bedroom, figuring out what to bring with me, as if packing my things. No clear sense upon waking whether the sequence lasted long enough for us to carry through with the escape attempt.

In another sequence (seemingly outside the original 'prison camp' sequence), I was at home (in that the location seemed to be my parent's home) with my parents, but menaced by a Bane-like character (along with his daughter perhaps). They seemed to be lurking out in my dad's stained glass studio. Bane himself may not have been able to move freely (he seemed to be low to the ground but still a great threat), but as I leaned too close to him, he caught one of my hands in his grip, and I worried that he already had me (and wouldn't let go), so I frantically somehow wrenched my hand loose and fled to the kitchen/den area to warn my parents. Then I returned, but found him and his daughter gone (or hidden). I was wary of sticking around there on my own but upon quickly peeking in a few areas could not locate them. Got the impression they were lurking nearby, waiting for their chance. All I could still see was their bag(s) of stuff, in the corner, where Bane had been knelt or crouched, piled up a bit so it'd look at 1st glance as tall as he'd been when he'd been sitting there, as if to make it look as if he were still there, just trying to hide (and/or he was trying to gaslight me if anyone else came to look). I rifled quickly though one bag, pulling out a couple of bags of cable ties, then ran to show them to my parents. I said, "Do you know what these are?!" waving them at my mother, then when she didn't seem too alarmed explained that they were cable ties, cheap and fast restraints, that if they got us in them, they'd then be able to torture us to death.

Then, thankfully, I woke up.

Noticeable low blood sugar upon awakening.
