Guess what I found when I went poking around the alt.drwho.creative archives the other day?

Something I didn't even have on my own computer anymore - the 3 posted sections of the never-finished, decade-old The Eight Doctor Whos, by 'Terrella Dicks'. (As I told the group at the time, she was the reclusive, independently wealthy sister of Terrance Dicks, and had decided to show him how the 1st BBC EDA should have been written.)

Despite the fact that the fandom has moved 2 Doctors on, I still have a soft spot for the 8th Doctor (go figure). Maybe I'll add some more to this story, one of these days soon...

Also a reminder that I need to re-assemble my site completely, and put the fanfic back up. Either that, or make sure it's all up at ff.net.

Went down to Norwalk this morning for a few hours for the pARTy in the Park artist orientation. Was good; we got a complete tour of the entire 'art walk'; saw where our tables/tents would be, as well as getting parking passes. Group seems appropriately on top of things, and the event looks fairly major (considering it's costing us artists $0 to be there - the reason I'm there at all, so far from home). I'm going to have a very modest display of photographs (ie, just a 2x4 table; no screens or grids). I'm not there to sell as much as to see and be seen, to dip my foot, as it were, back into exhibiting. (Last time I showed photographs was at the '07 JP Open Studios.) So this is 5 hours of, I hope, quality networking time.

Tired now.
