Looking now like I have a cold - croupy chest congestion. Or maybe walking pneumonia and allergies, more like. Way to enjoy a week off. @#$%ing yellow pollen drifts in the gutters...
Brighter note, did satisfyingly well at the First Church JP Spring outdoor Craft Fair (ie, made back the cost of my table and a bit more). Got several compliments on my jewelry (to which each time, I would snarl, inwardly, Then @#$%ing buy something!! Some people actually did. Weather held till it was over, now we have a nice, steady rain. Wash more pollen out of the air; s'about time.
I'll still make jewelry as a sideline, but I need to switch to a different scheme for outdoor shows - something there's a dearth of. Prolly kids'-related stuff - cheap but handmade little gee-gaws to attract that parental impulse spending..........
And also of course some cheap handmade gee-gaws for grown-ups (cute little unnecessary things YOU CAN'T RESIST). Way to aid & abet the Consumer Society..........
