Human-caused? No - not unless humans can fake muddy raccoon footprints on shed rooftop.

And neither uproot any plants, nor steal any of the few small, still green tomatoes.

But merely yank out the plastic corner tubes for adding water out of each the Earthbox's bottom reservoirs, and in one case, dig all the way down to the muddy dirt-water interface (again, uprooting no plants).

I'm assuming this trouble-makin' critter suddenly craved water with a passion - could smell it, pulled and twisted and probed, then dug til he or she got to it. They've, after all, got that 'Must wash my food!!' instinct. Prolly had liberated some morsal or other from nearby, and thought, insofar as critters 'think', 'Aaayy - water!!'.

Punk.

Until I noticed the footprints, I was totally 'WTF??!!'.....

...just saw

THREE

raccoons lope across the road near my apt. building.

"You caused me alot of trouble! I'm still PISSED!" I shouted after them.

Also, tonight, I dropped a soda bottle then opened it right away, thus spraying it all over my kitchenette and my tee-shirt.

It was actually rather magnificent.
