I can-not re-find that old meme I got tagged for. IIRC, it was about current, recent or favorite reading.
Here's one reason I hesitated to answer that: this time 'tis me who has been doing precious little reading...or, rather, precious little hard-copy reading.
You know what I've been reading most consistently?
Online fanfic.
Buffy xover fanfics in particular. With anything and everything. (Most often with Harry Potter, as it turns out.)
Every day I check ffnet and tth for Buffy xover fiction, go see if one I've been following has been updated. Find the gold within the dross. That's the only regular fiction reading I've been doing for...oh...has to be going on months, now.
I occasionally peruse the daily paper, I also keep an eye on a few other online spots like DU, and my LJ friends list, etc.
I also listen to a helluvalot of radio. Public radio, especially on the weekends - lots of talky programs.
And I delight in those fanfic sites...perhaps because they represent the ever-changing creativity - good, bad and indifferent - of my peers. Similar to the way people are now flocking to read (and contribute) to news and political blogs....
