...involved a run-around with a few people, transformer key/knives which changed color upon being moved around (I couldn't figure out how to work them or why someone told me to get the 'red key', upon which someone showed me how it worked and I (figuratively) went D'oh), Davros communicating through a chicken (don't ask), a planet which could hide by appearing then disappearing on the screen before us, and some sort of aliens who called the lot of us 'fat'. To which I absolutely agreed, reasonably: 'That's me, all right.'

Silly dream aside...I woke feeling a bit more rested than I have for some time. Calmer, too. Still taking the 5-HTP and GABA, and I've begun occasionally feeling the difference in my emotional arousal level during times of stress. Several times this past week when I'd usually have been as tense as a board (not exaggerating by much), I've felt much less acute stress.

It's quite interesting, viewing depression in this new way - as essentially a sleep disorder driven forward by negative cognition habits, with the neurotransmitter levels being mere symptoms - not the cause. Verrry interesting indeed.
