Open Scrolls looks to be a good LotR no-slash archive (figured I'd finally start checking out the non-ffnet venues). How much redundancy from cross-postings there'll be remains to be seen. Found at least one superior 'alternate ending' fic already - time well invested. Worth it just for the handful of amazing fics one finds.
