DREAMS

Hung about with some folks. This included at one point taking my turn in a 'Naval scenario exercise'. Which is in retrospect a bit inapropos...as I know (and knew during the dream that I knew) squat about Naval policies and procedures.

There were several people (the deck crew) in a room, and an officer. You would be the 'Commanding Officer on deck', and had to respond correctly to what information came your way. I really didn't know what was proper procedure, but gamely tried to go along in that I tried to salute as I entered the room and the scenario began.

At one point someone called out 'man in the water', but no one seemed panicked or even excited, so I said nothing. But afterwards wondered if it had been someone in danger, and wondered if I'd screwed up on that part of the exercise.
