Wandering a night-time city post shake-up...after some disaster or mini-apocalypse had shaken things up. Not dystopic as much as Ambivalent. Navigating the rubbly areas, briefly rubbing elbows with other denizens, mostly children, who were not dangerous as much as potential Wild Child material. Trying to follow what used to be highway, or city expressway, which posibly didn't come out anywhere. Not sure if I had one of those little personal vehicles I've felt I had in other dreams, but at least one of the 'children' may have - I think I helped him get onto the right 'ramp'.
A bit later, asked someone what had happened: Had it been a comet, etc?! I asked someone nearby dramatically. He seemed to say Yes! Still wasn't really clear, but satisfied my need for a Disaster to have happened. He indicated that (as I could see) some buildings had fallen, been shaken down. Vague impression that the ones I wandered through had been MIT buildings, though I thought I was on the Boston side of the river. (That may be due to having read recently about how MIT originally started off in the Back Bay.)
Something that flew zipped up, but it was no threat as much as an annoyance: a flying billboard/advertisement that might lurk, flashing ads at you.
