Had a little adventure, with I think Z, T, C...and area friend N.M. - or someone I 'saw' as him.

Initially we were on this 'bus' with this small group of guys who were holding us hostage or had captured us or something. We managed to set up this 'Mexican standoff' situation - both sides had 'weapons'. I said something to the effect of 'Don't be a fool! Live to fight another day!!' An impression here though that our peril wasn't total, or our captors only semi-competent (or perhaps not seriously holding us captive).

At any rate, we were able to back off the bus, and to play it extra safe, started running. Running through a neighborhood that had me thinking we were on a street I used to live on, next city over. Just this fairly thickly-settled urban street, with small houses,; I noticed an open front or large porch detail on one. I got to thinking it was a hispanic or Puerto Rican neighborhood of some kind (and we all know what that's a marker for, kids).

At one point, N.M. took a sharp left turn; I kind of laughed at him that it was the wrong way, and very soon after he veered right back again to the main route. The rest seemed amused as well (perhaps by the whole situation as it stood). Turns out he may have called ahead, for we shortly came to well, a water-park, a pool in the middle of the 'street'. And N.M. dove right on in, to our surprise and merriment, making a big slash. Just went right in, and started swimming about quite merrily, as if he'd ben looking forward to doing this for a long time.

Less eager to get totally wet, I walked out across a platform that crossed part of the pool, and sat down, whereapon something I took to be a harbor seal type creature hauled itself out of the water to sit next to me. I felt her hairs; they were as stiff as wires; I commented upon that fact, stroking her. I felt the presence of one of the caretakers nearby; a she who seemed to approve of the interaction, almost as if the 'seal' approaching me was not so common, or a compliment of some kind.

A brief Buffy adventure - me trying to help the Buffster deal with a vampire or demon who was out to get Willow. At one point Buffy left briefly as I was trying to watch over a comatose Willow; then Willow dissapeared and I saw this strange small fellow who climbed through a hole in the ceiling of the building we were in. Following him, I asked to be pulled up, as I could hear Buffy confronting the baddie on the level above. The small fellow pulled me up, when I raised my arms up, and I scrambled up and tried to help. Willow had been 'turned bad', so was sneering at us, as was the baddie, and there were what looked like little packets of stones. I wondered if breaking the stones would break the evil spells involved. Don't recall how this all got resolved.

Did some wandering around. This is mostly unclear, but at one point, seemed to me two 'black guys' passed by me as I was pulling out and examining paper money I had in my pocket, and suddenly I was missing a couple of bills. I followed and caught up to them and confronted them in a very polite way: something like, 'Excuse me, I think you accidentally picked up something of mine...' After a few moments, they pulled the few bills out of their pockets and handed them over, and I turned and walked away. I continued what was an amble through a neighborhood, though now hoping to not run into those two guys again, in case they were pissed at me for confronting them.

I was explaining to someone how a certain gift I'd tried to sew would work (function), and they were as impressed and pleased as I'd hoped anyone would be (except that in real life I wasn't able to finish the gift correctly, nor in time to give at Christmas). This one was as wishful thinking as you can get.

---

Vague impression that after a long time of not going there, I finally snuck a peek at the Unknown Country site - and it'd shut down.
