Well, I weathered my first interview for a lab tech/lab manager position at a school I used to work at before. Seemed to go okay. (But then again, don't they usually, even when you don't get called back?)

Don't mind me, just tired. Like most anyone, I get jazzed up for the actual interview, then crash afterwards. Hoping I was what they wanted (insofar as this position looked pretty good). Hoping I didn't act weird or wired or whatever, and not realize it. Or maybe too zoned out. Hoping I didn't go through all that stress of getting ready and putting forth my best 'for nothing'. Oops, negative thinking again. Supposed to tell myself it was 'interview practice' if nothing else. God I need to work on my positive thinking skills. Looked like a pretty good natured P.I. (Principal Investigator - head of the lab), which is important to me after the last place I worked.

And, naturally, had a msg. waiting on my machine when I got home, and was able to set up another interview. (These things always happen in clusters.) This time in another place I used to work, over ten years back...hehe. Nice sounding Italian lady scientist. That's one interview where I reckon I'd better look as spiffy as I can, if I know what's good for me... ^_^^
