Was on transport (felt bus-ish). This guy who I decided was a good-natured Pimp, who wore white leather pants (might have been this 'wide-brimmed white hat' effect that contributed to that impression as well) was sat in the seat next over from me, with a s maller black girl on his lap (I'd decided she was a Pam-Greer type). I remember at one point good-naturedly scolding her to sit the OTHER way so her legs swung out to his other side, instead of being too close to me. But I wasn't that annoyed. Everyone i n volved was more Amused than anything else. (Having just seen the 'Undercover Brother' theater trailer yesterday probably didn't help, heh.)
I also remember on that 'bus' briefly exchanging words with a couple of males who gave me the impression of 'foo tb all type'. I was worried they'd look down on me, but I don't think they really did. Was probably just my usual reticence; I was sitting one seat over from them at one point. While near them I looked out the windows and noticed strange architecture...h ard to describe. Buildings or parts of buildings that had angled parts and/or areas that formed 'steps' when seen from a distance. An impression of larger size or scope than usual.
Was at a flea market, looking around. My dad said he was going to get one of those 'pashima' shawls for my mother. I was all concerned about what color to get that would go with her winter coat, but then I ran into them again, and she already had it on - light blue or aqua-colored. Was a larger wrap that made a shawl covering for the head and shoulders (Like Amidala's white wrap from SWII). I poked around through some boxes and tables of stuff in one room or corner. I may have interacted with a few of the vendors, or they may have tried to intereact with me. I half recall bein g t old or over-hearing someone talking about what they were doing (selling) there. Might have over-heard something not aimed specifically at me; don't think I was very focused.
Was outside; seemed to be night or dusk. I was worried about snakes (water mocca sins, I think), so I poked carefully through some underbrush and leaves with a stick to make sure any snakes got shooed off. At one point thought I was poking in a 'window box' filled with dirt and leaves (but just left outside in the woods). Almost fanci ed I saw a little dark sinuous shape retreating, but wasn't sure. I then jumped down a slope slightly and either poked some more or threw down a longer stick or dead tree branch. I guess I was just poking around outside. Was not any 'familiar' outdoor area.
