Was hanging around with some people in another place; there were some doings, some travel.

At one point, was in a kitchen which reminded me of the layout of the one I grew up in, prior to certain renovations. I was lurking about, watching a woman cook, but not sure this was *my* mother. She however, definitely felt 'motherish'. I tried to 'help' a bit (like a very young person, or one who doesn't really know the right things to do to help), thinking something 'icky' had gotten onto one of the cooking spoons sitting right by the stove (thought 'cat food' had gotten on), and apparently tried to clean it off, maybe rinse it, but may have instead deposited it into the sink or otherwise just made it 'dirtier' (so that it really had to be cleaned now). In other words, made more work for the cook to do. She didn't get angry, but I detected that resigned disappointment of someone who sees more work inadvertantly made.

In what may have been the same place, but outside (again, with features of how it was in my youth), I saw what I felt was my current cat (or it looked/felt like it) who had gone into the pear tree next to the house.  I also got into the tree, possibly to get her down, for she suddenly started to climb into a dangerous, unstable area of the tree, where the branches were too small to hold her weight.  I became aware that something I couldn't 'see' had taken control of her, was 'making' her do that. I then myself took control of the situation by sternly commanding my cat to come to me ( which she did, as our human/pet relationship gave me that 'right' to call her, as she trusted me, etc.), after which I gingerly came down out of the tree, holding her, feeling an unstable part of the tree moving (ie, we both had been in danger of having a fall out of the tree). But we got down safely, and I started down the walk next to the house to go back inside, still carrying my cat.  But I paused and turned, glancing back at the space a little above the tree, where I could sort of 'sense' the trouble-making creature/being (though I couldn't 'see' it), and I told it that if it come back around again... I'd kill it.  Then I brought my cat inside where she'd be safe, possibly mentioning to my 'mother' what had happened.

Another sequence which may have been related (ie, same general bunch of people) had me in a vehicle that looked/felt like an SUV. In other words, roomier, a bit more power probably. 'Mother' was driving, I think.  I got this impression (not necessarily 'correct') that we were in, or watching, maybe somehow becoming involved, in this fantasy story/adventure.  What happened was, I saw two 'deer' moving along this banking (we were down driving in an area below, a sort of gully - possibly unpaved), and I got this sense (or maybe was just worried) that they were 'dangerous', or agents of the inevitable 'dark lord' who is in every fantasy adventure. So I was watching them warily, and may have been waiting for the 'good guys' to show up (to get menaced by the evil deer). Whether I expressed my impressions to my travelling companions (I think there were others in the vehicle behind us), I don't know.  But at one point, we seemed to turn the vehicle around, as if to ride back the other way.  Cheered by this, possibly due to assuming that now we'd show them evil hench deer (as surely we would now go wicked fast and outpace them), I got excited and went "WHOOHOO!!!" I then rolled down the window and let out another whoop, to make sure the deer (and now, suddenly, another person who was walking along near our vehicle) heard my glee.  I got this startled "Da-FUG??" impression back..... and then woke up due to my alarm, before I could find out if we did get to go wicked fast.
