Early evening dream: Out driving in my hometown, going from one event back to my home to get something; saw a cop with lights on behind, pulled over, thinking it was for me, realized I didn't seem to have my glasses on, figured I'd get dinged for that, but the cop never showed up.

Was in a schooling/dorm situation. Unfamiliar roommates; at one point was out and about, concerned about getting back in time for classes, etc. Then was back at the dorm, worrying about getting dressed, IIRC.

Urban traveling dream. Involved some of the usual wandering tropes for me - seemed to be driving somewhere; started down a highway in the wrong direction at one point.

Seemed to have a traveling companion; some guy, who seemed a bit on the mischievous side.

At one point, the fellow fell or jumped into a puddle /small sinkhole and completely disappeared. I in effect rolled my eyes (as if I knew he were fooling around) and reached in to fish him out again, in a 'Right; knock it off...' manner.
