There's nothing quite like starting the day by hurtling, mere moments after waking, out of bed, slamming a knee against the floor (bruise imminent) because of that sound oh-so-familiar to cat owners everywhere: vomiting commencing, on the rug.

(For the record, I got there in time to shove her forward onto the wooden floor.)
