Weekend Cooking

Really slow start to the day, but finally pulled myself together and made:

Mushroom-cheese tortellini & mixed vegetables dressed in pesto for a cold pasta salad for tommorrow. (store-bought, cooked & assembled the components)

Banana Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting. (from scratch)


Spent alot of time gooogling up info. for the 50th Wedding Anniversary trip we kids are giving our folks later this year. (We're sending them at long last to see an opera at The Met in NYC. ) They're big seafood fans, so we're thinking that Le Bernadin would do quite nicely as the after-opera dinner venue...

O.K.

Also made a blueberry/banana/milk smoothie and what I hope will turn into an acceptable blueberry frozen yogurt when I freeze it. Hrm.
